The Home Computer club is based in Tauranga, North Island,  New Zealand. The object of the club is to promote computer awareness, increase expertise, and to benefit computer users.

The Home Computer Club (TGA) Inc. holds it's meetings at the Tauranga Arts & Crafts Centre at 177 Elizabeth Street from 9.30am - 3.30pm on the last Sunday of each month, except for December when most members are enjoying their Christmas break.

The doors open at around 9.30am and there is about an hour of free time to setup the room, catch up with other members, show off your latest computer tricks and toys, have problems on your computer looked at and so forth.

The rest of the day is structured into two sections, with a Q & A session in the morning from around 10.30am till noon, followed by a lunch break from noon - 1pm. Then we have a presentation in the afternoon from around 1pm, with doors closing mid-afternoon. Do check the Club Calendar to confirm the exact time and format for each upcoming meeting.

Club members are actively encouraged to bring their home computers along to meetings each month. We especially recommend you do so if you need troubleshooting assistance, as it's hard to speculate where a problem lies in the absence of the problematic computer.

Members and guests are all welcome to attend the entire day, regardless of skill level, and to keep in mind that the reason our club works so well is from members learning new things and then passing on what they learned to newer members.
